Tell me about your School Supply Kit Program.

SchoolKidz offers pre-packaged, school supply kits filled with the exact supplies requested by your teachers. Kits are offered per grade level and each arrives personalized with the student’s school, name, and grade. The back-to-school kits are a cost effective and convenient way of purchasing the exact supplies a child needs. We offer the assurance of knowing that on the first day of school each participating student will be prepared for class.

How can our school and parents benefit from a program like this?

Schools can offer our program either as a service or fundraiser. In many instances, schools offer our program as a convenient service to say thank you for supporting parent organization initiatives throughout the year. Schools can also promote our program as a fundraiser whereby they mark-up the cost of the kits to earn extra funds. This is also achieved through our premium discount offering. Our program helps to build uniformity within the classroom in that all children will start the school year with the same teacher directed supplies. Your parents will save both time and money with our hassle-free program. No more waiting in long store lines or driving to multiple stores just to find the product you need is no longer in stock.

Who would facilitate the program?

Typically we work with parent organizations of schools and other school offcials such as Principals and Secretaries. It only takes one person to organize and run our program successfully and that person would have a dedicated SchoolKidz Representative to guide them through the entire program.

What is the time frame for running the program?

Your dedicated SchoolKidz Representative will work with you step-by-step using our “SchoolKidz Time Line” and “Program Schedule” to help you plan out a program that works best for your school. In general, once you finalize your supply lists with us it will take 3 – 6 weeks to plan out your program and allow the parents time for ordering. Then, allow us 8 – 10 weeks from the time we receive your order to process, build, and ship your kits to the school.

Can I request specific items?

Absolutely! We work with our suppliers to provide you with exactly what your teachers are requesting. We source top name brands such as Crayola®, Fiskars®, Elmer’s®, and Staples® as well as other top quality value priced brands. We can also accommodate schools looking for color-specific items and quantities.

Is SchoolKidz pricing comparable to retail pricing?

Yes, in many instances it can be between 20-50% better than retail store pricing.

How does the ordering process work?

We will print your lists on our exclusive four-page colored order forms and ship them to the school for distribution to the students by their teachers. Students will then bring the order form home and together with their parents decide on whether or not to participate by filling out the order form and choosing any optional items that are also offered. Once filled out, parents would then send the order form back to the school with a check made out to the parent organization. When all orders have been collected, the school would tally and summarize the orders using SchoolKidz provided tools and forms. Once final, simply send the order including payment, names, and Tally Sheet to us for processing.

When is payment due?

Your school could qualify for an Order Turn-In Discount if 100% prepayment is sent with your order. Otherwise, a minimum of 50% is required when submitting your order and Tally Sheet, with final payment due 10 days after your kits are delivered.

How and when are the kits delivered?

We will schedule a delivery week based on when you need the kits to arrive. To ensure a successful distribution, our goal is to deliver the kits a week before your planned distribution week. This will allow you enough time to check the accuracy of your order. Distribution typically takes place at an event right before school starts or on the first day of school. To help make distribution easy we organize, package, and label your shipment in master cartons by grade level. In addition, each kit comes labeled with the student’s school, name, and grade on it.
